Prof. Jorgen Kastholm für Kusch+Co

Born in Denmark, he worked as an ornamental metalworker before he studied architecture and interior design at the Technical University of Frederiksberg.
In 1961, he founded his own design studio, placing an emphasis on furniture design.
He exhibited his creations at many European and American exhibitions to establish himself as a designer.
In 1969, he won the German design award “Gute Form”, the first in a long list.
He began lecturing at the Wuppertal University in 1975 where he was appointed professor in furniture design and product development.
He passed away in June 2007.
