Not only does this area double as an escape route; due to the open staircase between the different floors, seating here may neither catch fire nor develop smoke.
A hurdle that was easily cleared with the expert assistance of Kusch+Co.Through an official fire test in the presence of theColognefire brigade, Kusch+Co succeeded in proving the effectiveness of its Fire Prevention Concept. Thanks to the use of the fire prevention fabric “flamline” and the leather “Ambassador”, which is also used in airplanes, the fire brigade approved the use of the bench series 8080.
This series was developed in tandem with Porsche Design Studio, consisting of upmarket lounge armchairs, benches and occasional tables in the market segment Public Seating.
